In many places throughout the world, spring is well and truly setting in. We leave behind the cold and darkness of winter and welcome the lighter months ahead.
Spring represents new life throughout the natural world and instills a more optimistic mood across mankind.
Contributing an EP that fully encapsulates this, Portuguese field recorder Luís Antero contributes 'Life' to our catalog.
The recordings were taken in two locations: Arganil and Oliveira do Hospital in Portugal. These were then arranged as the four tracks that comprise this EP.
Each piece represents an individual part of the natural world. Through two minutes and fifty seconds of gentle sound, this collection will instill a relaxed state amongst the listener and is best listened to through headphones.
Aside from engaging in field recording activity himself, Luís Antero is actively running a netlabel of his own, called Green Field Recordings. The fascinating label centers on pure field recordings from artists and locations across the globe:
